New Spectacular Hiking Activity FOR 2023
This route is best for intermediate and experienced riders who just don't have time to do the whole thing. You'll get all the drama of Tamolitch Blue Pool, lava fields, and both Sahalie and Koosah Falls!
You can also extend this hike include Clear Lake which is about 7 miles.
This is a 6.5 mile trail and takes about 2.5 hours for the average hiker.
See the best of the McKenzie River Trail in a one way hike!
This is the best way to experience Tamolitch Blue Pool.
You can also extend this hike include Clear Lake an additional 2 miles (about 8.5 miles total). Clear Lake Resort has a seasonal cafe open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. They even offer kayak and rowboat rentals!
The MRT has been awarded "National Recreation Trail" status and is perhaps one of the most visually stunning river hikes you'll ever experience!
This is a "Must Do" Shuttle Activity
How it works: Book you activity in advance. Meet shuttle, drop your vehicle off at Tamolitch Trailhead, ride shuttle to the top and hike back to your car.
